Wood Defender™ Transparent Fence Stain & Seal is a penetrating, oil-based product that uses ultra-fine pigments to reveal and enhance the wood’s natural grain and positive characteristics. It’s commonly selected by customers looking to amplify the existing beauty of new cedar, redwood, and cypress fences, as well as for pre-stain operations preparing materials before installation.

Formulated with less than 200 g/L VOC, well below the EPA’s 550 g/L limit for stains and under the stricter 250 g/L limits adopted in many states, our Transparent Stain & Seal delivers professional-grade performance with a lower emissions profile than standard oil-based finishes.

This product is backed by a two-year manufacturer’s warranty and offers a life expectancy of up to four years, depending on application rate and exposure conditions. Practical coverage is 100–200 sq. ft. per gallon, with actual coverage varying by application method and wood substrate.
